Senator Ned Nwoko has broken silence, following an escalating turmoil in his marital relationship with the Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, attributing the strife to his wife’s alleged struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.
Recall that the social media was hitted with a shockwave during the weekend when the rumors of the Nollywood superstar moving out of her matrimonial home circulated on the internet, with several people linking the incident to a domestic violence.

“Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage and Rampage in my House and in my Absence,”Senator Nwoko presented a bare different narrative. He claimed that the actress has went rampage as a result of substance abuse, alleging the Nollywood superstar to have assaulted three staff members, while destroying properties, including cars and windows over the last two days.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drug and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko stated. He defended his own character by contrasting her behavior with that of his other wives, asserting,” Senator Nwoko said “I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here,” he added.
The situation became public on Saturday when an Regina Daniels appeared emotionally distressed during her friend’s Instagram Live session, struggling to catch her breath.
“Ned sent his thugs. In Ned Nwoko’s house I’m nothing, but in my house I’m a queen. I cannot stand the violence again, it’s too much.”
Corroborating the violence allegation on his social media post, Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, accused her sister’s husband of beating his wife, while banging the later’s head against the wall.
The Senator maintained his stance, insisting Daniels should enter a rehabilitation facility, either in the Asokoro district of Abuja or abroad in Jordan, to ensure she has no access to drugs. He expressed grave concern for her well-being, stating, “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
Nwoko further claimed that Daniels has since moved to a location where she will have “unrestricted access to drugs,” and he directly named two individuals—Sammy and a woman named Ann—as her alleged “drug suppliers.”
The senator concluded alleging that during a recent medical emergency involving their child, a “clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital,” but instead, chaos unfolded at home.
As of now, Regina Daniels has not issued a formal response to the specific allegations of substance abuse made by her husband. The public dispute between the high-profile couple continues to dominate social media trends and news headlines across Nigeria.
