Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have joyously announced the birth of their third child together, a baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers, born on September 13, 2025. The Barbadian singer revealed the news via Instagram, sharing a tender portrait of herself cradling her newborn and another image of delicate pink baby boxing gloves tied with ribbons.
Rocki joins her older brothers, RZA (born in May 2022) and Riot Rose (whom they welcomed in 2023), completing the trio of “R”-named children the couple have carefully envisioned.
The arrival of Rocki has added a new chapter to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s story, one that began long before parenthood. Though their bond became more visible in 2020, their connection dates back years: A$AP Rocky opened for Rihanna on her 2013 tour, and they first collaborated on a remix of her song “Cockiness (Love It)”.
Over time, friendship blossomed into romance, built on mutual respect, vulnerability, and shared ambition. Rihanna once described their partnership simply but powerfully as: “We’re best friends, with a baby.”
The couple has often defied conventional expectations around family, intimacy, and public life. When Rihanna confirmed her second pregnancy during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, she became the first artist to perform while openly expecting.
For this third pregnancy, she made a first reveal at the 2025 Met Gala, delivering one of fashion’s most talked-about maternity statements while A$AP Rocky co-chaired the event and confirmed the news on the red carpet.
Through it all, he has been a steady partner – present, playful, and proudly celebrating each milestone. At the moment his acquittal on firearms charges was announced in early 2025, he leaped into Rihanna’s arms with their children nearby.
